We are really pleased to announce that Little Miracles CEN have teamed up with stop-motion software specialists Zu3D.
Zu3D provide stop-motion software which has been developed to give children (and adults!) of all ages the freedom to create amazing animated films quickly and easily. Combining an intuitive interface with powerful features that are both educational and a lot of fun!
The software is being deployed on our existing iPads and we are looking to increase the volume of this too. As part of our continued support for the Arts Awards, we will also be incorporating this within our future programmes that we roll out for our members. The software allows the children to easily work with frames of motion in creating the story they wish to tell, coupled with such features as being able to import music and sounds, add titles and credits and work with green screens for example.
Francesca Yeeles from Zu3D said; “We are thrilled to be working with Little Miracles and are so pleased that Zu3D has been recognised by staff as an effective and fun learning tool, that helps to engage children with a variety of different subject matters.”
Justin Heron, Operations Manager for LMCEN said; “During the process we recently undertook to become an Arts Award centre for the children with autism, learning difficulties and range of disabilities that we support, we saw at first hand the power of Zu3D’s product. We saw both how engaging they found it and how easy it was to become engaged in the first instance which were really key factors for us. It allows us to provide another dimension to play with such things as Lego and Plasticine and really exercise the children’s imagination and encourages creativity as well as educating them on another area of technology. We are hugely grateful to Zu3D for working with us in this way, they too have considerable interest and passion for supporting Autism and we look forward to working together.”
