A massive thank you goes out to Team Chapman for their weekend efforts at the Milton Keynes Big Fun Run!
Tracey, Drew and Oliver dusted off their trainers for the second year in a row to take on the 5K MK challenge, raising money for Little Miracles CEN in the process. A bit of rain on the day certainly wasn’t going to dampen their spirits either.
They have raised a brilliant £380 to date with their efforts and you can still donate via their JustGiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Tracey-Chapman6 – any donation that you can make certainly goes a long way to helping us with our projects.
Tracey Chapman said; “Our son had Bacterial Pneumococcal Meningitis as a baby and was diagnosed as being on the Autistic Spectrum 4 years ago. During the past 3 years we have been encouraging our son to participate in activities by doing things for others to develop his social skills and empathy. Having attended the sessions held by Little Miracles for the past 2 years, this was a perfect opportunity to raise funds for others whilst getting fitter ourselves. Thankfully the rain held off and so far we have raised £380 so far towards the sensory garden at Little Miracles CEN.”
Justin Heron, Operations Manager for LMCEN said; “One again this is a truly fantastic effort from Tracey, Drew and Oliver in what they do for Little Miracles and we are hugely proud of them. Their commitment to helping others and raising awareness of the work that we do, year in year out, is to be truly commended.”
