It may well have started with a very early 615am coach pick up but it did nothing to spoil a fantastic day at the London Science Museum.
After speaking with the museum, we took the opportunity to utilise the “Early Birds” scheme that they have introduced. This allows children on the autistic spectrum a few hours head start in the building before it officially opens to the public. This is a great way to be able to take in the extensive contents that the museum has to offer without having to absorb all the crowds that the museum attracts day to day.
With over 50 interactive exhibits for the children to get to grips with science on, the Launch Pad area of the museum was hugely popular with it being so hands on and both physically and mentally engaging. A lot of praise also needs to go to the staff at the museum who were fantastic with us from start to finish.
A very good outing indeed for everyone that attended and there are lots more days out planned all the way through until the end of the year.
