On March 25th we took to the top of Needhams Tower at Ely College for a little charity abseiling!

The event organised by Ian Cox and his Class of ’78 on the run up to their 50th Birthdays was a fantastic success and saw both Little Miracles CEN and Ely First Responders named as beneficiaries of the event, in a very kind gesture.

The weather was fantastic as was the view from the rooftop across to Ely Cathedral. Little Miracles alongside our great friends at Hilton Hotel Cambridge City Centre entered an 11 strong team as part of the event and a hugely enjoyable time was had by all. Fundraising support on our dedicated JustGiving page for the abseil has already seen almost £1000 of support which is a massive plus for the projects that we are involved in and a huge thank you to everyone that donated and supported us.

Ian and the event organisers also included a cake sale, hot food, live music and bouncy castles as part of the event to name to ensure it was very enjoyable all day for everyone that attended.

A fantastic event to be involved in and a huge thanks to the organisers for their kindness and thinking of us in this way.
